Today is a glorious day. Today marks the season premiere of RAH! Cheerleading Bowl, Paula Abdul's new reality TV show. On this momentous day I would like to take a look back at the life of the ever so fabulous Paula Julie Abdul.
Most of you probably think of Paula as the crazy, cracked out, always buzzed/maybe a little drunk/slightly hammered judge of American Idol . . . do we really know what she is drinking out of that Coke cup? But, when I think of Paula Abdul I think of her as an exceptional dancer and a melodic mastermind. Her first album, Forever Your Girl, brought us legendary tunes such as Straight Up and Forever Your Girl. The Spellbound Era came only a few years later when she whispered Rush Rush into American's ears everywhere. Another lyrical masterpiece was Will you Marry Me?, which I can only hope was used for proposals across the country in 1991. Her career as a singer and dancer was one that deserves the highest of recognitions as her talents are just truly beyond those of any other human.
So, on this day, the great day of RAH!'s season premiere, lets all take a look back at the life of Paula Abdul and her accomplishments. Whether it was her singing, dancing, her role on American Idol or as a reporter on Entertainment Tonight, please take a moment to reflect on why YOU love Paula Julie Abdul.

i love her because of the two steps forward two steps back video....she made me feel like my never ending dreams of dancing with a cartoon cat who had the voice of a cool black guy were just with in reach.
